Phuket is largest island of Thailand. It's approximately 570sq. kms and located in Southern Thailand. Phuket is connected to mainland of Thailand by a Sarasin bridge. It is situated off the west coast of Thailand in the Andaman Sea, which is often called as the pearl of the Andaman.
You can see natural heritage sea, sand, sky, beach, forest, and world renowned diving sites. Sino-Portuguese architecture casts its spell delighting travelers to the city, while Phuket-style hospitality has never failed to impress visitors from all walks of life. Turtle Release Fair
Date: 13rd April 2010
Location: Phuket Beaches
Turtle Release Fair is held on Songkran, the nationwide Thai water festival, on 13 April. This date is also National Fisherman’s Day. Baby turtles are released into the sea at various locations.
